What to do in the Christmas afternoon when the weather is rainy and a walk is not an option? Watch TV and enjoy adverts every 5 minutes? Play the video game you are bored with already? Oh, come on there are plenty of better ways to entertain yourself, your family and friends. How about taking a fun trip back to childhood and putting some board games on the table?
Here is my list. I'm sure you will find something on it to make your next Christmas afternoon an event long remembered (in a positive sense, of course):
This one is really simple. You’ve got black cards with questions and white ones with answers. Someone reads the question and you just pick the funniest white card and read the answer. Warning: it can be really mean and awkward!
This box includes 5 mini games. It’s all about speed and reflexes. It sounds easy: you need to match identical symbol between the cards. There’s a twist though. Symbols are placed in a way that makes them difficult to spot. They can be in different sizes or placed on any part of the card.
You’ve got 30 seconds to describe as many words as you can to your team. Even 20 people can play!
Pass the labirynth, collect your treasures and return home. You can manipulate and knock your opponents off the board. Do I have to say more?
Really easy and pleasant word game. You don’t need any board or pencils. Just mix the tiles and play.
You may need a little help with encouraging people to play but that’s easy. Just check out our Christmas drinks recipes. Now you know how to get the party started! Have fun!
