What do you look for in a body scrub? I personally love the feeling of removing the old and revealing the new and knowing that my skin will look younger and more vibrant. Scent is another important factor in choosing a body scrub. To be surrounded by a fragrance that helps you feel refreshed and stress free adds a nice bonus to this relaxing routine. I also like to look for natural ingredients rather than a list of chemicals and fillers.
I tested two wonderful body scrubs for MyBests:
Both contain effective natural ingredients and left my skin feeling and looking great. It was difficult to choose a favourite!
The St Ives Apricot Scrub has serious scrubbing action with a sand-like texture and fresh, fruity scent. This scrub is ideal for when you need extreme exfoliation, but I don’t think that I could use it regularly. If you have sensitive skin, this scrub may be a little too harsh. It is made of natural ingredients, with moisturizers that leave your skin feeling soft as a new baby. If you like serious exfoliation and apricot scent, you will like this body scrub from St Ives.
I personally preferred the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Scrub for its creamier, more gentle texture and irresistible chocolaty smell. This is an exfoliator that can be used as frequently as you like due to its fine grain and excellent moisturizers. If you have sensitive or extremely dry skin, I think that you will love this body scrub as much as I did. It is loaded with cocoa butter, shea butter, vitamin E, and crushed cocoa beans for natural exfoliation and moisturization.
